HELLO 

2011 

 

Well, my blog has been deserted for the past few months but today I finally decided to sit my ass down and write out what's been in my head for the past few days. Yes I know I'm late (2 days to be exact)  butttt, it is a new year and thus time for a new beginning.

Starting with a post about my 2010 

2010 was.. a real rollercoaster ride for me.

I'm not going to elaborate on the high and low points of the year but if you were remotely close to me, you'd know. 

In many ways, 2010 was a new start for me

and 2011 is gonna be so much more. 

I'm sure of it. 

So this is just to say goodbye to the last year, and hello to the new one.

Well, I knew this would happen.

I can't stay mad at you even if I tried- which I did.

Even though sometimes you frustrate me 'till I want to pull out my already pitiful amount of hair,

there are a thousand more things you do that make my life better just by knowing you.

Okay, maybe not a thousand.

But then again, with five years of close acquaintance and endless hours on the phone, it's hard to keep track.

Thinking about these things make me happy, and then I can't stay mad anymore.

Because I've never forgotten the Naruto/Bleach Mix CDs with handwritten glossary,

or the hand delivered letters,

or the 24 hour counselling hotline aka your handphone,

or the endless hours of conversations based on random crap like zombie apocalypses,

or the numerous times I've gotten angry at you but decide to take it all back in a matter of minutes/hours/days/weeks (delete where applicable),

or the years spent watching each other grow into different people than we were before.

You were wrong. We both know.

I won't apologise for what I said because it was true.

But then I was wrong too in some ways.

So, I'm sorry for those things.

And I just want to tell you again,

I know you, and I know what you're going through is so typically you. I may not be able to help, but I'll wait.

I'll still be your friend ten years from now, and we can brag that we've known each other for another decade. And from there, I'll renew our friendship contract again. Maybe. We'll see. Hahahaha.

This incident just got me thinking of another important friendship I lost awhile back. It was horrible to lose such a great friend, someone I really cared about. I'd give almost anything to get my friend back, though we both know it's too late.

I guess sometimes we have to take a step back and think about the things important to us.

To my long lost friend:

Well no matter what, you were an amazing friend and even now when I think about the stupid stuff we did as friends I feel happy. It's not everyday I find someone I can click so well with without even trying. (I so know that now)

I kept thinking that I missed you, but I guess what I missed was the times that have already passed. So anyway.. All the best in everything, friend.

I hope that someday, somehow when you're zoning out or reminiscing about things you'll think of me. And when you think of me, it's not the bad times that pop up, but the carefree times we had being young and free before life came along. 

And I hope you'll smile, just like I'm smiling now.

After all the tests/projects were over, 

I just couldn't bring myself to sit down and actually write properly.

Sooo, since my course has finished our 'exams' already,

we now have a SIX WEEK HOLIDAY!

Hahahaha. Yes, needless to say, I'm ecstatic.

But then again, six weeks is a verrrrry long time.

I think I'll be bored out of my wits soon, if not for the DVDs I borrowed from the school library.

So right now,

the Pokemon/The Simpsons/ FRIENDS series are the only things keeping me busy.

That's kind of... sad...

Hahahaha. Well, I guess things could be MUCH MUCH worse

(e.g. Tests/exams/more projects) so I'll stop whining.

I'm perfectly content doing absolutely nothing. (For now) 

OH YES.

I've changed the layout for this blog! Finally.

I love the background colour, but I'm scared it's too plain.

Alrightyyy, time to recount the various happenings in my life.

Firstly,

COUNCIL FIESTA

Being on the committee for the event was actually really fun.

There was extra work involved besides the projects I already had(duh), and I got pretty stressed out, but I think the experience was worth it.

And I got to meet new people from the different school clubs.

Anyways, my position was Business I/C

so I was in charge of finding sponsors (which only Frolick came through, FROLICK IS AWESOME)

and deciding the ten lucky draw prizes & top 3 prizes for the Amazing Race teams.

I'm glad because I managed to stay within the $900 budget and still manage to get some damn kickass prizes. Hahahaha.

So these were the prizes for the lucky draw:

1st- Ipod Nano

2nd- Audio Technica Headphones

3rd & 4th- Swatch watches

5th & 6th &7th- $20 Borders vouchers

8th & 9th and 10th- $10 Capitaland vouchers

The number of people lusting over the Audio Tech headphones were amazinggg.

Hahahaha well, I actually wanted to get the Ipod Shuffle as second prize but seeing how it was actually pretty pathetic and how everyone prolly already have better mp3 players,

I made the split-second decision to get the headphones instead Thank God.

I had to get two volunteers from CASS club to help with the event, so

the ever awesome (*cough*) Hana and cuzzie Deb were nice enough to help~

And because they were helpers, they couldn't participate in the lucky draw.

Secondly,

THE DTVM PHOTOSHOOT

A handful of us were chosen to be photographed for the DTVM brochure for next years batch of students and etc.

So, from our class there was Nick, Cia and I

and from the other class there was

Shafeeqah, Anginn, Kenneth (who performed manyyy roles that day), Pearl and Raseenah.

I have a feeling Ms Gamar chose me 'cause I'm such a camwhore HAHAHA.

Deb totally agrees. MEH. But okay, I guess camwhores will do the job with glee Heeeeh.

Had to be made up first though!

Because the make-up artist/teacher (yah, two in one) didn't have enough time, I had to do my own make up. Aw man.

But the shoot was super fun, and Kenneth kept making me laugh like crazy the whole time.

We had to force ourselves to smile, but he kept making me laugh so it was no problem. He'd say random things continuously, like,

"Okay, he wants us to look over there. Mm mm very good, yeah, imaginary person in the chair. Yeah, pipe. Yeah,wall. I don't know why I'm not smiling. Mm Mm."

Hahahahaha. It was a fun camwhoring day. And the best part is,

there was a professional photographer to help with the camwhoring

Next,

TEACHERS' DAY at SC

Went back to SC in the morning (okay, late morning) to meet Charm for lunch at the canteen.

Ohhhhhhhhh I cannot tell you how much I miss our canteen food.

When Charm finally arrived with her home-made cookies and cards for the teachers,

we went to buy our salmon sushi from the sushi stall.

Ohhhhhhhh the rice was still sweet and I missed it so much

Getting nostalgic over food

Well, we bumped into Nicole and Amanda there and Valen finally arrived~

Had a good catch-up/laugh with them, and went around hunting teachers down and giving them our gifts

In the end I had to leave early because I had Visual Comm. final project due that day and lesson started at 1pm

So Charm kindly left with me and my flowers.

END OF SEMESTER OUTING WITH

DTVM 1A 02

WOOHOOOOOOO.

After our Writing across Media Platforms final exam (website critique),

we were all freeeeeeee~

A bunch of us decided to have lunch at Astons at 6th Ave after that.

Didn't take pictures there, unfortunately

But Elsy, Cia and I camwhored in the cab at least. HEH.

Afterwards, Nick, Desh, Ling and I headed down to Bukit Timah Plaza to play pool.

(Aka Desh's favourite activity of all time)

And then, the camwhoring began. Hahaha.

We played a few games, and obviously, whoever teamed with Desh won.

Eh but but, Ling and I teamed together for like, three games

and we only lost by one or two balls each time.

Which is pretty damn awesome already!

Considering Desh was on the opposite team, and Ling was a beginner.

Awww yeahhh.

Desh the pro shooting with his left arm because he strained his right arm.

Ughhhh even with his left n00bie arm he could still whoop ass

Well, that's it for my catch-up post!

Ahhhhhh.

Nowadays I've just been a real hermit at home.

The only time I go out is to gym with Deb or watch a movie.

So, I'm making sure that I'm more sociable again and I'm lining up things for myself to do.

It's been amazing though, spending time with my Aiden at home. I love him so so much

I guess I've just been in one of those moods, where I don't want to talk to anyone.

I'm just someone who needs alot of alone time, where I can just be by myself and seriously not open my mouth to speak for hours on end.

It feels very good. To not have to speak for the sake of saying something and just keep my thoughts to myself.

I guess it's because I'm an extroverted introvert. Hahahaha.

Does that make any sense?

Well, people might say

"Don't be ridiculous, you're so annoyingly loud. How can you be an introvert?"

Yes, A-holes, I AM loud. Super loud.

But being loud and being open are two totally different things.

I am loud and chatty most of the time, but I don't like to share many things with many people.

Only if you're remotely close to me will you know what I think inside.

Okay, enough about this
